August 31
One thing that I was most looking forward to was being a little more free to do some things. Like, for example, getting lunch and going to the library to eat it. Another thing that I was looking forward to was getting one step closer to finishing school, and then going to maybe college. The last thing was the classes that I had chosen, whether they would be exciting or not, or just very informative.

My room is very bare on the walls, except for my birth certificate, calendar, and other miscellaneous poster. My full/queen bed, with its pink sheets, pillowcase, and comforter, sits in the middle of the room, headboard pressed up to the east wall. My entertainment system is on the south side, and a dog kennel beside my desk and computer are on the north side of my room. I have two doors that both lead to my closet. I have windows also on the east wall of my room. The last item in my room is a very plain, dark or light wooded blades, and nothing covering the light-bulbs.

August 26th
I sometimes do my own laundry, when I am feeling in the cleaning mood. Most of the time, though, my parents do my laundry and I go and obtain them from the couch arms. I don't really set my clothes out for myself the night before. Only on the first day of school do I really ever plan my outfit for the next day. There may be some days where I need to plan my outfit out, like on football days for the pep rally, that way I don't forget what to wear.

August 25th
Yesterday was the first day of high school and I was very nervous. I worried about finding the correct class on time and not being late, because that is not the first impression you would want. As a freshman, everything is new and exciting, but also a little scary and nerve-wrecking. Not only physically draining, but emotionally draining as well. But, when the day was over, I was elated that I had survived the first day of high school and that these next four years were going to go by in an instant. High school can be thought of the next step on the road to a successful life and great occupational choices.
